Tim Harshbarger moved to Madeira Beach, FL, with his family in 1960. He attended Madeira Beach Junior High and graduated from Seminole High School. Tim served in the Navy for four years, including two tours off the coast of Vietnam. Upon returning to this area, he earned a degree in business management from the University of South Florida and began his first career in banking.
Tim married Pam in 1975, and within the next six years, their family grew to include Amy, Dave, and Lori. In the 1980s, Tim moved to his second career in community control for the Department of Corrections. Now retired, Tim enjoys lots of babysitting and family time, as well as traveling when possible. The family has now expanded to include son in law Alex and daughters in laws Karissa and Jenny, as well as six grandchildren, Addy, Lily, Hemi, Emma, James, and June.
Tim is a founding member of Adoration Church and serves as church treasurer as well as an elder. He spent many years cooking weekly dinners for youth group and is now enjoying weekly dinners with his GAP group.
